The Story

The story behind Let's Get Lit began in Upstate New York in 2008.
My family gathered together to celebrate the joint graduation of my sister Alma and my cousin Tiffany at my aunt Vivian's home. It was a day filled with laughter, great food, family, and plenty of drinks.
There were the familiar choices—Coronas, Heinekens, and the usual favorites.
But I wanted to try something different.
That's when I discovered the mojito.
At the time, I had no idea what a mojito was. But one sip changed everything. It was cool, refreshing, and invigorating, with the perfect touch of mint and citrus.
That moment introduced me to a classic cocktail that has become a favorite for warm summer nights, celebrations, and good company.

Care Instructions
1. Trim The Wick: Before lighting, always trim the wick 1/4 of an inch using scissors or a wick trimmer for a cleaner burn and increased candle lifespan.
2. Let It Burn: Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the jar. This is important especially in the first burn. This prevents tunneling.
3. Practice Safety: Do not leave a candle unattended nor burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
4. Never Burn A Candle When 1/4 Inch Of Wax Remains: Lighting a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.
5. You Can Reuse It: Once the candle is finished, clean out the jar. Our candle tins can be used as a planter, a pencil holder or anyhting else you would like to use it for.
